Steel Wheels Pizzeria in Edmonton

Excellent spot far enough away from the hustle and bustle if Whyte to not be affected by it; yet close enough to do the drunken stumble from Whyte of which we have all been guilty. The adventure restarts once you arrive at Steel Wheels featuring a wonderful staff, a wonderful atmosphere and graffiti riddled walls to which you can contribute adding to the experience and leaving your own personal stamp of the occasion. Update: I'm unabashedly addicted to the kimchi soup and suggest you be too. My way is extra rice and extra meat.

Great squid stir fry( I never eat squid just like that usually just calamari fried) but man it was so good and the pizza was good too I think what made everything so good was the freshness I have ibs had no problem digesting stuff, the stir fry is on the spicy side I was fine with it no probs what so ever !

This is another time where I died and went to heaven 🤗 the food was outstanding, excellent portions for an amazing price. I will keep coming back. I❤it

Great foods and friendly staffs. My girlfriend also likes this place because of variety selection of menu. They basically have multicultural foods such as pizza or rice with spring rolls. And we love the energy in this place. Ages getting older but still feels like 5years ago when we first met

Great pizza and you HAVE to draw or look around on the walls. Here's a game to play..with some friends go there then put $5 on the table then tell them to find ____ then put there finger on it. Best game ever.

Recommended to us by a friend for the pizza. But they sell a small menu of korean items as well. We tried the pizza. Its a basic homemade pizza. Good quality cheese and toppings. Basic flavours including a bulgogi pizza. Combo deal includes 2 slices 2 spring rolls and pop 6$ Good tasting. Great price. Good atmosphere.

This is a staple for late night eats after a fun night out on the town. Bulgogi pizza is our go-to. Very unique decor, graffiti everywhere (purposeful). Check it out, grab a unique slice of 'za after a night out.

Absolutely love this place! It's my go-to munch out spot whenever I go to a concert or a show. Their bulgogi pizza is out of this world!

Been here quite a few times over the years. Love the graffiti and quaint surroundings after a night out on why’re. Kimchi jigae is a must and the bulgogi pizza is always a delight!

Looking for a new pizza experience this popped up and had really good reviews. So tried it out. Alot of comments about Korean Beef Bulgogi pizza. If the only topping other than cheese is Bulgogi Beef, then there should be a generous portion of meat. Sadly, the meat was barely present. Thus, if this was an accurate presentation of this pizza truly over hyped and disappointing. The upside very cool decor / art on walls, ceiling

So much life has passed through and lingers thanks to the graffiti artists, and plates that have become paintings, drawn by both young and old. Exuberant and friendly, those working there helped my friends and I with explanations of the menu, and what we could expect. Spicy food was the choice, and though our frail mouths burned, we loved every second of it! Reasonable prices, and plenty of food per order, we're definetly going to be repeat customers. ...And drag more friends along too!

Always a good time here. It's open late and the food is pretty sweet so no complaints at all. The indoor decor is also very unique with all the graffiti so it's definitely worth a visit. I never have any hesitations regarding visiting this place! Highly recommended!

very bad place with disrespectful owners, tried to enjoy a nice pizza but saw discouraging things. disappointing.

I ordered two dishes, asked for one to be spicy, they made them both spicy. Asked them to correct it and they made me buy a whole new dish. Waste of money, the bulgogi and the pizza suck too.

The absolutely best authentic Korean food in all of Alberta. Open late so you can make a good decision after a night of terrible ones. The atmosphere is eclectic, with graffiti on the walls and dim lighting. Portions are great for the prices and quality, though they are a CASH only based business; all the best are.Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Was brought by my cousin and we loved the vide. Graffiti on the walls and lots of guest art around. Next time I was in the city we brought friends to eat here and it was a hit. The chicken meal is the go to.

Best go-to food after a tiring night out from Whyte. Open till 3am (or later depending on the crowd) on the weekends. Atmosphere is not everyone's forte but something about the graffiti just gives this place a unique environment (in Edmonton). Can never go wrong with any of the food on the menu. Open late night, decent prices, good food, quirky decor/graffiti, the owner is a hoot! Only downside cash only. I would recommend this place. The Bulgogi pizza and their spring rolls are yummy!

It's exactly what you wish it weren't. What can I say, this place is a must on every bar tour or weekend dive. It's where over and under meet and obliterate each other to create a sincere feeling of "just whelming." When you go low, Steel Wheels lifts you higher - at the very least, the food will potentially improve your morning after.Besides the truly DIY deco, it's a decent Korean restaurant. Try the kimchi pizza (only full size). It will leave you with nothing left to wish for. Ever. Again.

I had their bulgogi pizza, which was made of basically 70% dough, 25% cheese, and 5% toppings. If you get a beer along with your food you might be ok. Very colorful wallpaper

Place has a goid vibe. Staff is super friendly and polite. Food is good and cheap. Only issue I had was they don't accept cards. Its cash only. However, there is an ATM there. But you'll have to pay a service charge for the ATM (cad 1.75) and another service charge for your bank. Therefore always take cash.

An Edmonton late night food Instituition. The family that owns and runs the place are as nice as can be. Late night pizza and soju is always a great call.

Delicious Bulgogi pizza at a great price. Interesting graffitied decor with a lot of offensive (to some) content. Because of this, I would not recommend bringing your younger humans along. Counter-service and cash only, or take-out.

$10 for veggies on rice? Not a good deal, especially by the University. I'm sure their pizzas and Korean options are great. However, this place is obsessed with styrofoam. If it's a hole in the wall I would expect a better deal but I'm sure it's a blast when you're drinking.

Pizza pretty dece

Late night bulgogi kimchi pizza was a surprise. Who would have guessed that this combo worked so well. The pizza was amazing and the crust has a very different texture and taste that I loved. Awesome little hideaway for a late night treat with a great vibe. Check out the graffiti over all of the walls.

Best place to go after a night on Whyte. Open late, has an ATM, a $4 item is actually $4 and not $4.20 (no added tax), no obligation to be sober, great aesthetic, and delicious food. The staff has always been wonderful, even letting my group play music in there on a slow night. Do yourself a favour and try items that aren't the pizza, all their food is amazing
